ORDERING PROCESS

uma promotional pens South Africa is the sole Uma product distributor for South Africa and Africa.

We are based in Cape Town South Africa and import directly from Germany. The warehouse, based in the Black Forest is stocked with huge quantities of promotional writing instruments in their respective colours and styles.

So, most of the products are ex stock. Turnaround time for dispatch takes around 1 week, as pen refills are usually supplied with blue ink and have to be swapped to black refills for South Africa.

1 week applies to unbranded products only. Shipment to South Africa will add another week subject to no unforeseen delays at customs. To be safe allow 3 weeks in total for delivery.

Branding can be done in SA by us or by yourselves and will add to the delivery time. Uma Germany has developed some branding options that are only available in Germany. E.g. 360 Degree laser engraving.

These branding processes can add up to 3 weeks. Minimum quantities apply for branded orders and depend on pen ordered. Plastic minimum 1000 units and metal 100/300 respectively branded.

Unbranded we can do smaller quantities, but remember it adds to the price of unit costs. Uma SA will bring in some popular stocks which we will advertise on this website. No minimum apply ex stock SA unless otherwise indicated.

All pens are sold without boxes unless stated otherwise. (They will be packaged in sleeves and 50 or 100/boxes.) Pricing of our products is based as per enquiry and packaging requirements.

The more you order the lower the price will be.

HOW TO BECOME A RESELLER

Please fill in the required fields in the “Apply to Register” section of this page and attach or mail the necessary documentation. Your application will be vetted to ensure that the core function of your business is the resale of promotional gifts/pens.

If your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail with the terms and conditions and an invoice for your starter kit. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before signing and sending them back to us along with proof of the invoice.

Once the registration process is complete, you will receive an e-mail from uma South Africa with your log in details for the website, and a step by step guide on how to deal with us. If based in South Africa, you will receive a starter box, catalogue and other marketing info for R1 000.00 ex VAT, with branded pen samples show casing each and every type of branding method.

Once you order products from us in access of R5 000 ex vat we will credit you the R1 000 by means of a credit for your future orders. This credit is only valid for 12 months. If you do not make use of our services for 12 months you will have to re-register with us. The starter kit will give you an immediate look and feel of the uma brand and quality.
